  • 4.25 oz. (120g) all-purpose flour
  • 3.5 oz. (100g) coconut sugar
  • ½ tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 4 oz. (115g) vegan butter, melted

  • 1.5 oz. (45g) coconut sugar
  • 1 oz. (30g) cornstarch
  • 2.2 lbs. (1kg) pears, peeled & chopped

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease an 8×8-inch (20×20 cm) baking dish.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the flour, coconut sugar, ¼ tsp salt, cinnamon, and melted butter. Mix with a fork until the mixture forms coarse crumbs. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl, mix the sugar and cornstarch. Add the chopped pears and toss until evenly coated.


  • Pour the pear mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread out evenly. Sprinkle the crumble topping evenly over the fruit.


  • Bake for 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the filling is bubbling.

  • Let cool for at least 20 minutes to allow the filling to thicken. Serve warm or cold.
